N-Octyltriethoxysilane
Product introduction
YAC-N823 is a monomeric medium-chain alkylfunctional silane. It is a colorless liquid and soluble in common non-polar organic solvent.
YAC-N823 alkyl alkoxy silane is the equivalent of Momentive's A-137, Dow's Z-6341, Evonik's Dynasylan OCTEO.
Technical Data
Application
Polyolefin, styrene, for the surface treatment of mineral fillers in plastics. Premium-grade penetrating sealers are easily formulated by blending 10~40% YAC-N823 in alcohols or organic solvents.
Reinforced concrete structures are protected from water and water-based salts, and normal wear resistance, surface appearance and most other desirable properties remain unchanged.
Packing and Storage
Storage: Keep closed and store in a cool place and inert gas. Moisture sensitivity.
Recommend Shelf Life: 12 months.
