Product introduction
YAC-N4823 is clear colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. It is the equivalent of Wacker's SILRES BS1701.
YAC-N4823 silane crosslinking agent is suitable for water-repellent impregnation of construction materials (especially concrete and reinforced concrete). It increases their resistance to alkalis and reduces water absorption, thus improving durability. YAC-N4813 is practically insoluble in water. It hydrolyze slowly in the presence of moisture (ethanol is released) to form reactive silanols, which can react with themselves to produce siloxanes.

Application
YAC-N4823 can also be used as a surface modifier to generate hydrophobicity and to increase compatibility to organic non polar matrices.
YAC-N4823 can be used in the production of silane crosslinking formulations.
YAC-N4823 alkyl alkoxy silane can be used to render a wide range of surfaces and materials water repellent (e.g.construction materials, fillers), especially concrete and reinforced concrete.
Packing and Storage
YAC-N4823 is supplied in 175Kg steel drum.
In the unopened original container YAC-N4813 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
